Latin America's Top Dining Apps on Android: Q1 2024 Performance

In the first quarter of 2024, Android users in Latin America showed considerable interest in dining and restaurant applications. Performance metrics from Sensor Tower reveal how the top apps in this category fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery maintained strong user engagement, with downloads peaking at 312K in the last week of February, and weekly active users reaching over 3.1M in the latter part of March. Despite no reported revenue, the app's download trend saw a notable rise from the beginning of January to the end of February.

Burger King Brasil experienced a surge in downloads in early January, hitting 115K, with weekly active users showing an impressive increase to 586K in the first week of March. The trend for active users remained relatively stable throughout the quarter, indicating a consistent user base.

The KFC APP - Ec, Co, Cl, Ar y Ve saw its downloads fluctuate, with a high of 53K in mid-February. Weekly active users showed growth, reaching 388K in the third week of February, and remained steady around the 378K mark towards the end of March.

Moving on to Habib's: Descontos e Delivery, the app witnessed its highest downloads at 34K in late January. The weekly active users peaked at 128K in the same month, demonstrating a period of heightened engagement.

Lastly, Burger King® Mexico showed a remarkable spike in downloads in late January, with a record 52K downloads. Weekly active users for this app reached their zenith at 151K in the same period, but a downward trend was observed towards the end of March, settling around 100K active users.
